faster. The Power Delivery over USB4 is bi-directional allowing power to flow to and from a

DisplayPort Alt-Mode 2.0
DisplayPort Alt Mode 2.0 provides all of the features in the latest version of the DisplayPort
standard (v2.0) through the USB Type-C connector. It can transmit up to 80 Gbs per
second (Gbps) of DisplayPort video data utilizing all four high-speed lanes in the cable or
up to 40 Gbps with simultaneous SuperSpeed USB data delivery.

USB4 offers greater compatibility with previous specs supporting not only
USB 3.2 (Gen 1 & 2) and USB 2.0 devices but also supports Thunderbolt 3 running at
40Gbps. (Compatibility with Thunderbolt 3 is only optional for USB4 hosts and devices.)
